Vox Pop PouletThe need: Ressac Media is making a Facebook contest for its client Les Éleveurs de volailles du Québec in order to increase the brand awareness on social media. Our solution: Programming of Vox Pop Poulet, a Facebook application where people vote for their favorite chicken recipes. Control of the contest is handled through an admin console on Facebook. The results: The first contest was a huge success that brought hundreds of people to the page. The number of page fans has more than doubled since the begininnig of the campaign. |

ODE FacebookThe need: Génération Pub, the company which created the ODE web application, wants to offer their clients a donation platform on facebook. Our solution: Creation of the Facebook ODE application, enabling charities to raise money on the social network. Participants create their custom home page and donations are collected using Paypal or Moneris payment solutions. The results: Hundreds of donations have been made through the application. Many foundations, La Fondation Martin-Matte and Fonds Josée Lavigueur/Opération Enfant Soleil amongst them, use the platform to collect donations. |

WebdwellerThe need: Help Wedweller, a hip Montreal startup aiming to turn advertisement right side up, to integrate Facebook to its offer. Our solution: Development of a Facebook application that replicates the functionalities of webdweller.com. Facebook Connect authentication on the website lets users register with their Facebook account. The results: The big loud launch is due for September but you can already create an account. SalsaJungleThe need: Unite Montreal salsa dancers community on a specialized networking site where they can create a profile, get access to all the information regarding events, clubs and dance schools in Montreal. Our solution: Creation of the Salsajungle.com website, a social network where users register with their Facebook accounts (Facebook Connect technology). The Facebook events are imported and the recurring events are automatically created 7 days in advance. The results: A few months after launching, the site now records over 200 registered users and receives an average of 50 visits a day. The buzz in the dancing community (schools and promoters) has been nothing but positive. |

Mes AmisThe need: Build a little Facebook application that gives a few statistics about a user’s friends. Our solution: Creation of Mes Amis, where a user can see statistics such as the average age of his friends, their favorite musics, the men/women ratio. Users can invite friends to try the application, publish their statistics on their newsfeed or add them to their profile. SportingFixThe need: Our client wants to use the services of a sports statistics provider to build a site offering sports schedules for over 4 000 teams across 213 leagues and 12 sports. Our solution: Creation of SportingFix.com, a site where users access the schedules of their favorite sports teams in a RSS format, ical or by email. The site handles paying subscriptions through Paypal and analyzes hundreds of new schedules daily in a XML format. The results: Unfortunately, the site was closed since no profitable economic model was found to pay the statistics provider fees. |
